Next weekend we have some great rugby action in store for us in Templeville Road. It starts on Friday night (25th) when our J3s play CYM in the Moran Cup - KO 8pm. Then Super Saturday starts with our J2s playing Old Wesley in the O’Connelll Cup - KO 1.30pm. Then our 1st XV play Banbridge in the AIL at 2.30pm, followed by our J4s who play Malahide in the final of the Metro Division 9 league.

Our J4s topped the table and therefore secured a home final. This year's team is captained by Aaron Doherty and the lads have had to wait for over 2 years to get to where they are now. New and old players have gelled together to make this winning team. Our number 8 James Casey had retired before Covid but came back to us with a new hunger for succes. That and some new blood in the shape of Andrew Gibbons, Alex Gunning, and Colum Dillon gave new energy to the team which now plays in the final to win some silverware.

Big thanks also must go to Mossy Davin, Honorary Match Secretary and Director of Junior Rugby, for all the work he does behind the scenes with selection and match fixtures. Thanks also to Dan McManus our player/coach for his training sessions and team selections, Ryan Barnes (backs' coach), and Collie Kavanagh (Assistant Manager) for all their help through the season.

Please do come up to club to support some or all these teams if you can, it would mean a lot to the players.
